The 'unofficial' 3Ds Max bridge tool has problems. I can't seem to contact the developer, whatever I try (e-mail/Personal messages). This tool is invaluable for using Unfold3d with 3dsmax. I know people holding off using Unfold because of the lacking integration. Please make it an official plugin/script so it can have proper maintenance. it's not usable for me because it has problems with instances and I can't place the unwrap modifier anywhere in the stack.
It really needs a feature to be able to add the unwrap anywhere in the stack. For example after some modifiers like chamfer but before modifiers like turbosmooth. This is part of a normal unwrapping workflow in 3dsmax. The unfold modifier should not always be at the top of the stack. Removing all modifiers like turbosmooth and then reapplying them by hand is no good solution.
This is the most important feature I can think of that would make Unfold3d far more usable, since it's non destructive and keeps all modifiers in 3dsmax.

Yes, +1 for this. Import/export process always have a lot of problems. Native Unfold unwrap modifier in 3ds Max gonna be the game changer.
