Add function to align island via one edge [SOLVED]

Good news, the feature you request is already there.

1. First select the edge (or even several ones)
2. Click on the vertical or horizontal constrain icons:

3. place the mouse pointer over the island then press key 'U' or 'O' depending if you want to reunfold the island or simply reduce its stretching

Your island will be reoriented
