I have recently tested the demo version of Unfold3D virtual spaces, and really love the program. I'd be an instant purchase of a perpetual license, but to be honest, I absolutely dislike the concept of the license being tied to the host ID of my computer, I thought this was a thing of the past, even ZBrush switched to a login-based license with version 2018. I'd like to use my applications wherever I go.
Is there some way to manually de-activate a license for PC nr. 1 and re-activate it on PC nr. 2? Or isn't it possible to change the hostIDs once I have activated both for a single license? Do I need to contact support to do that?

Hi Wilson
I understand.
Login-Based license needs robust and reliable server license system over the internet. Unfortunately it is not affordable for us because we are too small (at least for now).
Today you can tie your license to two computers without contacting support. If you buy a third computer and want to install our software on it, you will have to contact us (it take us a minute to change your license).
Thank you for sharing your point of view, it help us to define our dev lines.
All the best

Thanks for the fast reply! You are a small company and can't maintain a license server system, I can relate to that of course.
I'm asking about the host ID system because I will most likely change something about my PC configuration throughout the years multiple times - like installing a new graphics card ect - which most likely (?) will change the host ID and require the generation of a new license. If this will be done quickly when I contact support, everything's fine.

Ethernet config will change HostID info only. So if you change other thing you will not have to retie your license.
