Please bring back or revert to the old familiar interface. I am finding that my workflow has slowed due to having to hunt down where everything is now in 2018.0.37 (Windows) Dev version. Thank you!

Gotta agree with Eric. I had to see what you were talking about. This is really weird. Not sure if I can get used to this work flow as I was used to just going up to the tool bar ABOVE not all the way on the left side of the UI.
My suggestion is to make the interface completely customizable. Like drag things where the end user wants them and then offer "themes" with different set ups and allow folks to share their favorite work flow UI theme.
Thanks!

Hi Guys,
I understand that you where used with the old UI. However we made some effort to make something more intuitive.
Full dockable UI demands lot of work for now.
However I can: 1. add a preference option to exchange the positions of the TOP toolbar and BOTTOM status bar (the one with gradient bar) 2. add a preference option to move the edit mode bar from the extreme left to the extreme right (where it was before)
Would it be enough ?
(please update to the 2018.0.39, as it solve many bugs)

Better than nothing. I'm not sure why such an expensive program doesn't allow the end user to move things where they want. I don't think it's asking too much!

Thanks for answering and I understand your point of view. However making an application dockable is more complicated that you may think, it could take a month of dev.
I am sure it would be better to make it fully dockable but there is maybe other priorities. The comprise with the options above may be a better solution for now.
All the best

Hey Remi, I can adjust to the new interface for sure, of course you know your software direction better than I so it was just more of my personal preference

Thank You Remi ! Very appreciated, & I completely trust you when you say it is complicated. And GREAT work ! (I've been trying to get in time to do more with 3ds Max & Unfold3D, -attached is the model I was inspired to create & work with ) (not a perfect match, but very fun ! ) (plus, yaa for the Unfold3D plugin in Max )

Hi Josh, That's funny you made this because I tried to figure out recently if it was possible to make the Rizom-Lab logo in 3D. I still didn't found yet.

Thanks Remi! It is fun to try and create it, & I'll be sure to Unfold it , -I'm guessing it is a bit of an illusion (and maybe an orthographic view would be good for it too?) . I'll post up my 3ds Max file (and an obj / fbx / etc. ) on it tonight. All my best!
