Suggested options for straightening up UV's [TOD0]

While it's been a great pleasure using the straightening tools when you have a large map to fix up it would be nice to have a new algorithm where you could select a full area and then with a key stroke or clicking on an icon tell it to ignore all vertical or ignore all horizontal edges and then click the _ or | icon and then hit the o key and have it straighten multiple rows all at the same time.
