Hi guys! Could anyone help me with next: I have a bunch of already prepacked overlapped shells and now before packing I`d like to stack only this islands. More over these islands contain inverted shells so actually they are not a same. So here is a quastion: is it possible to hold few overlapped shells together during packing process? In UVlayout this is possible and i`m looking for similar feature here in Unfold UI Regards, Andrew

Hi Andrew,
You can do this by: 1- Select your islands 2- group them by pressing 'G' 3- select the group (not the contained islands) 4- In the panel "Pack Properties", click on "Stack". This will say to the packing algorithm that it must never repack that group.
Is it answering to your needs ?
many thanks for your comment

Hello,Remi!
Yes, this is exactly what I need. Btw does your product allow user to pack 1:2 ratio textures?

Hi Andrew,
Yes, you'll find all the necessary in the "UV Tile" Panel. You will be able to set all ratios you would need.
Is it fine for you?

Hello, I have a problem. My shells are also prepacked, and shells that share the same texture are moved by 1 vertically. So, if I follow these instructions, I can stop overlapped shells from being packed, and it works. Check the image to easier understand my next question. Lower tile is packed, but now the shells top are not matching their respective counterparts, and I would have to manually go and copy everything in 3DS Max, weld it, move it by 1 again etc. I would like the shells that are moved up, to move along with their counterparts, just moved by 1 vertically, is this possible? - And if yes, please provide detailed instructions, as this is my first time using the software.

Did you try to select one island (that has a counter part) and click on Panel "Island Group->Group Stack" before packing ?
