Hi there,
Got a distressing problem. I'm using RizomUV.2018.0.141.g and Max 2016. I noticed when I imported my FBX that the UVs were somewhat out of place, with several overlaps. None of this was visible in RizomUV. I can't use the UVs like this.
I tried importing the file into a brand new Max file. Same thing. I may try OBJ but I really need FBX to work to preserve my material IDs.
Is there something I'm missing? Known bug?
I tried resetting my geo and this doesn't fix it either, though it does fix other things (such as model components being out of place from Rizom to Max).
Note, OBJ export from RizomUV does bring in correct UV's in Max 2016, but FBX does not (with this one file). Preserving Material IDs is a must for me though or it would create a lot of work.
Other files work okay (similar type...lots of pieces and material IDs). I also set the FBX type from Rizom to be 2016, same version I'm using in Max 2016.
Any help is appreciated! Thank you,
Dan

Hi Dan
Thanks for the report.
But as always, nothing can be done if I don't have the file. Could you please send me the problematic file (the original FBX file that comes from MAX) ?
Thank you very much
