Hi, i have a problem with different UV scale between C4D and UNFOLD3D when i export an object form C4D to UNFOLD3D using U3DExporter and do the process after uv unwraping as i save and switch back to C4D the unwrapped uv is much larger than the uv board in C4D, i would be appreciated if anybody told me what to do as a rule of thumb . thnaks a lot.

Just click the "Fit" button and it will solve that issue.

thank you,but i have already done that and the problem is still there , let me explain it again, i have seen this tutorial (link below) www.youtube.com/watch?v=1jfPY6daE2gas you see in this picture , we can see the islands can't be packed into(due to size) the UV Board which it's size belongs to cinema 4d , when he hits the pack button , all the islands pack into the UVBoard , and when he switches back to cinema 4d , all the islands are packed into the UVBoard , this is what i got when i do the process , 1.unwrapping 2.aftter hitting the pack button 3.back to c4d 4-after hitting the fit button 5-back to c4d Can you help me with that?

I tried your file, it works fine here. Have you tried updating to the newest Unfold3D version? Also, the tutorial shows he is using R17, while you are using R18.

when u hit the pack button , all islands will be packed into the default uvboard?? i think i should first solve the problem insde unfold3d because pack button doesn't do the job, am i using the latest version?

first of all vou should upgrade to the latest version ... the stable one is 2017.0.27 or you can use 2018.0.42 (RC) are you using the C4D Bridge? If not in what format you are exporting ... FBX or OBJ? I'm asking this because I can't reproduce your error. On my end all works fine. Chris

thank you Chris, i am using Unfold3D the version i mentioned in my last post, and C4D R18, exporting OBJ using a free plugin called "Select N'Go v2.0" .I imported "the Exported .OBJ file" with no error into unfold3d, when i was exporting in OBJ within c4d ... file > export > ... OBJ ,i was getting an error after importing in unfold3d and using Unfold3d exporter plugin got the same result,
i am going to update the software and share the result.

Hi Guys,
Reza82n use the Real Space version. With the RS, the UVs are not rescaled by default after a Pack.
Reza, simply hit Alt-B when you want your layout be fitted in the default tile.
All the best

Aha, that explains it, I was assuming he was using Virtual Spaces and didn't notice his title bar!

Hi Hunter,
I suppose you have the RS because you suscribed for the RS. If you need to change that please contact me directly by PM and give me your license ID.
