remi can we add a button to flip the selected uv on the tile rather than on its own local axis? or add a shift + existing flip button to do this? It is really useful when you unfold/optimise, stack. then want to mirror one half exactly to the other side of the udim tile.

Thanks for that Mossy.
I would need more precision on the mirror axis position? How can we determine its position? If necessary I could detect the tile in which the selection is located (using the bounding box selection center), but which axis of the tile should be used for mirroring?

Hi remi, i made a quick gif to try demonstrate. i have a script in maya uv editor to do a flip (left and right) and flop (up and down) on the uv tile. I also wrote my own script which basically finds the uv tile number, sets the axis to the centre of that tile and then flips. ibb.co/hmzXSn

Thanks.
Ok, so the axis can be vertical or horizontal, and their positions are the tile center.

Hi Mossy,
The new devel release 2018.0.27 introduce new tools to flip selected UVs. Have a look at the panel Align | Straighten | Flip | Fit.
Any feedback would be appreciated.
