Hello, after trying to distribute materials in tiles, somehow my already made UV gets repacked. I'm I doing something wrong? My process is: I merge different meshes with different materials assigned to them and with their on UV into one mesh in my 3D program, export one OBJ with tons of overlapping UVs, openning it in Unfold3D, openning Smoothing Groups Selection tools, selecting materials and then pressing Distribute in Tiles (I do add multi-tiles before, ofc). I do get what I want, all meshes gets it's own udim, but with reapplied packing which I don't want at all.
Many thanks in advance.

Hi Vlad
Did you tried to "Lock" tile? You can Lock tile by selecting its name then in Packing Properties hit "Lock". It will prevent the packing algorithm to repack the locked tiles
tell me if it answer your needs

Bonjour Remi, thanks for answering. Yes, when I lock all empty tiles and then press distribute -- it works without packing, it almost what I wanted. However, it resets Spacing from tile borders and stretches my uv a little bit. Here is how it looks at the beginning: i.imgur.com/5jwlFvw.png and here is after distributing: i.imgur.com/EIZ7ZtW.png. I don't exactly know in pixels what kind of a gap is needed, I just need islands to remain at same places in different tiles. Any ideas?

Bonjour Vladimir I am sorry, I red your first message to fast, now I understand what you want to do. You cannot use "Distribute" tool for that since it use pack to place islands into tile and so re-arrange the islands. But you may use that workflow, which is less automatic, but I think enough fast: 1- Import you mesh into Unfold3D 2- Switch to island primitive mode (F4) 3- Using the File Data Selection Tool, select the Objects or Material os OBJ Group of Smotthing Group you want to place into a given tile 4- Use SHIFT+ARROWs to move the islands into desired tiles. Is it answering to your needs ?
