Three things I think I would find useful:
1) A tool to detect circular loops and the ability to select them based on size and/or angle between edges. Very often Unfold will break circular holes when it doesn't need to. I'd rather cut those first to help the Mosaic algorithm.
2) How about a manual edge selection tool that marks them in red, and prevents them from being cut? This way we could specify protected edges much more accurately before trying an Autoseam unwrap.
3) Also is there any way to colour-code island overlaps – so I can clearly see islands that aren't distorted, but have unfolded over themselves? Especially the long, thin edge strips you sometimes get.
