Hi
I recently downloaded the 30 day trial. As it's only a trial am I unable to export the unfold created? I ask as I have tried to export (if that's the right process) and nothing happens.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Try exporting as an FBX. I had the same problem in my Max 2018 version.

Try exporting as an FBX. I had the same problem in my Max 2018 version. I need the uv unwrap though as I want to be able to add graphics to a model.

What i mean is import your model, unwrap it and save as an fbx instead of obj. Then bring the fbx file in your 3d program

Hi Joy, thanks for your suggestion but that hasn't worked. Are you suggesting that when I bring in the FBX from Rizom into Max it should have the unwrap on the geometry? Forgive my ignorance if thats not the case, my knowledge of unwrapping at this stage is limited.

imodelcmIf you want to add your own graphic to the 3D model you have to export the UV Map as image. In Rizom-Lab you can go to File > Export (Ctrl + N) to save your UV as TIFF image. Than you can add your graphic with Photoshop or other similar tools on top of the exported TIFF, save and apply the image as Diffuse to your 3D object. Hope it helps, cheers
