Hey guys,
After looking over the description of your two products "virtual" and "real space" I couldn't help but, ask this question.
Currently I work with a multitude of files that are CAD based models, exported out as .xt files. However I'm unsure of these normalize terms when we import them in to programs such as MODO to convert as an FBX keeping the normals clean with how it was imported. Then import it into a program like Cinema 4d and here things become confusing. As I know currently if I mess with any of the geometry the normals break so typically I would extrapolate a new piece of geometry which makes it into a polygonal object converting the normals native to cinema 4d.
Down this line does it stay unnormalized as a CAD based mesh or does it become converted to normalized down the line? This decision is important before I can physically make a choice between the two products.
