Looking in edit-> mouse interaction it looks like I should be able to make my own key mapping (in the 'alternate' columns) - but that doesn't seem to work. I use a proprietary 3d modeling tool on some jobs and it would be nice to be able to create my own mouse bindings for rotation/pan/zoom to match that tool.

Hi Chrisell,
Yes, the option was there but removed (it looks like we didn't removed all buttons so it seems it still possible to change mouse setting but it is not). The reason was because we found that as a end user, the mouse interaction edition dialog was difficult to use and creating a full mapping of the features without generating conflicts took too much time. We are trying to see if it is possible to change at least the orbit/pan/zoom and rotate/scale/translate mouse assignations.
Can you tell me what is your current mouse assignation for: 1 Orbit 2 Pan 3 Zoom 4 Translate selection 5 Scale selection 6 Rotate selection
We will see if we can do something. We could do a new preset.
Thanks for your feedback.

Thanks
I did a preset for that. However I can change on for Orbit / Zoom / Pan, your bindings for T/S/R would require too much work.
I left selection / deselection as before. Tell me if you want that I change something.
Please download the new setup (0.9.36) available in the same folder.
Thanks !

It's 99% the scene orientation - moving the camera around - and this has solved that. I can live without the T/S/R
