I use the 'E' key to switch between UV and 3D view (it was my idea suggestion, and thank you for implementing it). I noticed the default key was changed to CTRL-E, which isn't nearly as easy or quick on the keyboard. I think 'E' is far more useful and used more often, at least in my workflow.
The problem is, when I re-assign the 'E' key to this, it only works one direction. I have to click the button to go back.
Is this just a bug? I liked how it worked in the old version where E toggled back and forth between UV and 3D view as often as one liked. I use this feature a lot!
I'm using the latest version (or the one from yesterday), build 2018.0.75.g6f4c8d7.
I did notice that the bug where I could not save an FBX from RizomUV had been fixed, where before it would sometimes give an error that the FBX loaded 'didn't match the original', and that's the primary reason I upgraded from Unfold3D 2017. That was a real problem, because if I had to save OBJ I'd lose all material assignments. Any news on the UV/3D toggle functionality, or are custom hotkeys not working correctly? Also, thanks for the custom hotkey ability!
I was sure you would come back on that point I also preferred the old hotkey scheme. (current is E to switch from fullscreen/split and Ctrl-E to switch from 3D to UV and vice et versa).
Yes the old one was better, unfortunately it was not consistent with the hotkey/button system and needed to be changed because it cost to much code.
Yeah, that was the first thing I noticed with the new version. I'm really not a fan of CTRL-E coz it's just uncomfortable for how much I use it. Trouble is, when I assign my hotkey back to E, it doesn't save the configuration even though I hit 'save and close'. Are we able to customize keys or are they still hard-coded? It only seems to work until I close RizomUV (or if it crashes for any reason).
