I'm using Unfold3D 2018.0.45. The Box autoseams produce good UV on most of models like table, chair but fails on model like leaf, plants. Please take a look at the below image, I compared the result of Unfold vs Flatiron (hard surface mode - which look like using Box method too). Unfold packing is a lot better, but Flatiron does better unwrap on the leaf. I've attached these 3D models. I believe this is a bug cause I tried to set Sketch Control to 0.99 but still having the same result. Hope this will be fix soon, great products Unfold3D ! Attachments:table-unfold3d.FBX (917.92 KB)

Congrats Rizom-lab on the successful launch of Rizom3D 2018, wish you guy soon successful on the way to become UV field's standard.
I just installed the newest 2018.0.62 but the Box algorithm still occurs above problem on the leaf. Hope this gonna be fixed soon so I can confidently use Rizom3D to unwrap lightmap UV

Hi, I recommend the use of the "Mosaic" algorithm with "Reweld" enabled instead of box for this mesh. (300 islands instead of the 933 created by Flatiron) Note that the packing is not great because of the dominance of the two side of the table. When split into two parts, we get this: best !

In our case, we mainly unwrap architecture models for lightmapping. Mosaic algorithm usually produce high stretching UV for some islands.
The Box algorithm is much more reliable in creating stretching free UV.
I still think there is some problem in Unfold process, because as you can see in my image, both software produce the same UV seams placement, but somehow RizomUV can't properly unfold all these leaf.
(I'm looking for automate processing so manual seams placement is not a choice)

Problem with big islands are solved in 2018.0.108. Look at the panel Auto Seams -> Size Limiter
Stretch Limiter has been rewritten and it is now much more robust
