Hi, sometimes I want to generate rectangular textures so I need the UVs to be packed into a rectangle rather than a square. Please make that easy like providing a control where we can specify the target aspect ratio such as 1:2 , 4:1 etc. Then the packing will occur only in this space.

Ok I tried that, but if I set 1 into Su and 0.5 into Sv, the units into the UV space UI become rectangular and not square. In my request the UV space would still contain squares. This might be cosmetic only, but I don't want any deformation to occur because of this setting. Is this what is expected?

You can adjust the texture ratios U&V independently using the Panel "Texture Mult.". This will allow you to solve your problem.
