Unfold3D VS Beta
Version : 0.9.22.g16432c6
Win 7x64
When I browsed to the folder containing the beta key and applied it, I got a popup error indicating that Unfold3D VS could not write to C:\Users\myusername\AppData\Roaming\Unfold3D
and it would not start.
I tried running again as admin, and still received the same error.
When I manually created this folder and tried again, then Unfold3D worked correctly, the license became active and I was able to start using it.

This is the exact error window - happens also on Win10x64.

Did you just created the last folder (Unfold3D) or did you have to create also the parents one (Roaming and/or AppData) ?
Many thanks

A fix has been uploaded. The new setup is in the same folder as the previous one.
Thank to all for the bug report.
