Hello,
I've downloaded the Beta by following the Link we've got by eMail, I've also downloaded the licence file for Virtual Spaces, when I open Unfold Beta I point to the folder where the licence is stored but it isn't recognized.
Am I doing something wrong?
Thanks!

Hi Sedor,
You did the right things. It would seem that there is a problem, thank you for reporting the issue.
Did you try different folders ?
Also, can you post me the complete folder path ? If the path contains special characters, it could be the problem source.
Cheers

Hi Sedor, Hi Remi, I'm guessing (hoping) I might have the fix . Did your license error look like this? (attachment added) (hope that image is larger/ readable) The message was; 'Error when saving license file path' "Something went wrong saving the path of your license file..., etc." C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming If so, I hit the same error, I then created a folder in that directory named, "Unfold3D," (making sure it had Admin privileges, etc. ) My guess is during the install that path/folder just got missed? I goofed something up ? I put the license file in that folder (making sure it was unblocked, etc.) Launched UnFold3D again, got to the lic pop-up, picked the folder, and it worked. Hope that helps! My version for UnFold3D is (image attached); I'm using Windows 7 64bit. Glad to help more! Thanks again (LUV UnFold3D !! )

Hi Josh,
Many thanks for your help. Yes, that folder could be created at install time, but it is simpler to create it by Unfold3D itself if it doesn't exist, this should be the case, however I have to figure out why it didn't create it.
Thanks again !

A fix has been uploaded. The new setup is in the same folder as the previous one.
Thank to all for the bug report.

Just uninstalled* the old beta & installed the latest release, using the VS version. Everything worked great, no issues on the install or starting-up & using UnFold3D . The Unfold3D folder was showing in the directory; C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Unfold3D I put the VS license file in that folder, selected that folder in the pop-up dia. window, items turned the color green, selected Run, & UnFold3D started up. (checking out the latest video on YouTube now ). *On uninstall I noticed, after the uninstall, the Unfold3D folder in the directory; C:\Program Files\Rizom Lab\ was still present. Before installing the new beta, I deleted that folder, and the Unfold3D folder from; C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Unfold3D -just to get a 'clean' install (not have the new beta install bump into any old files, etc.) I used the 'unins000.exe' from inside of the Unfold3D folder. I don't think it made any difference . Thanks for the update!

Sorry was away from home for some days. Well, that is not my problem - my problem is that Unfold doesn't recognize the License-Files: I tried other folders and drives, but it doesn't work.

Hi Sedor
Did you tried using only one license file in the folder ? You have to choose either beta_RS.lic for Real Space or beta_VS.lic for Virtual Space.
However I don't think it is the problem source.

Hi Remi,
yes, I tried one license - only one of them in the folder, finally I put just both together to have them in one place.
I tried them also at the root of my c: drive, at my NAS, other local drives - doesn't work.

I don't see why it doesn't work.
We need more investigation for that. I come back to you on Monday.
Thank you for the report.

Sedor, we are currently doing a more detailed license dialog with a diagnostic feature that may help.
