Hi, Still quite new to this program. I'm wondering where in the program I can go to export UV maps in various sizes? Is there a way to color code them and is there a way to turn off the lines when exporting the maps as I just want a straight color. I can't even find when I import an OBJ where the material zones I've created in other programs are displayed, looked all over for that. For example, please see my screen grab from another UV creation program... Thanks for the help! Richard

Go to Select, in the drop down menu click on Show File Data Selection Dialog... There you will find material lists, and more. For materials, you can highlight the material and select the associated UVs by clicking the "Select" button. For exporting a map with only outlines, make sure you enable TIFF UV Stamp, and select Frontiers. If you only check Enable TIFF UV Stamp, then you will get all lines drawn to the UV Template. Hi,
Thanks so much. You may want to assign a keyboard shortcut (from my other thread I do have limited brain capacity to remember those allot of the time but for others....) and create an easy access icon for that for the TOP row of tools. For me avoiding the drop down menus as much as possible is helpful in my workflow!

OK, not seeing an export option from within that dialog. Might I suggest an export option with TIFF, BMP, JPG, PNG and PSD being added to that dialog as well as the ability to choose sizes or type in the size you want so folks aren't hopping from dialog to dialog to get their maps exported. Seems a bit much!

Also, you may want to add code to allow the end user to add in color id info. When I did use the dialog you suggested, selected the pants and then opened up the Export dialog and clicked off the ones you mentioned I just got a square box, no outlines for the three material zones of the pants. So I either did it wrong or something...
