Well, no problem guys, I'm far from understanding how it works, but it happens to me occasionally, don't know how. By the way, there is a good idea of future Rectangularize functionality. In modo, like in Unfold3D, if nothing is selected -- everything is selected. When I do press Rectangularize in modo -- it makes rectangles only out of objects that are best suited for that type (grided). Unfortunately, Unfold3D smashes to rectangles even circle stuff with hole which makes hardly usable map. I mean, it would be cool if it would be possible to filter grided and not grided islands to rectangularize, so we don't need to select each island that we want to be rectangle.

Very understandable, & I agree, that would be good . ------------------- And, being a bit silly here (would not expect anyone to do this ), -trying to get the UV setup reminded me of 'old school' uv work, when UV's were hated like hot death (~ 1999 - 2002, etc.). Anyway, I'd break everything apart, flatten it, then align it (match edges), get uvs as close together as possible, then start stitching verts (...very painful). But, it looks like if you wanted to spend the time in aligning the UVs, you might be able to create a rectangle ;

Omg Josh, you made me happy! :-) So good to know that I was too young to be involved in such a grunt work.
