Hi, i ve load a relative smal model( around 25.000 polys) with one object and multiple materials and selections. After working some minutes with the uvs i keep having crashes and is frustrating. Usually i sent the model from c4d but the problem is not generated by c4d(i think) because sometimes crashes also with an external fbx. Is anywhere some memory management? Sometimes i get crushing on save, sometimes on moving the camera on 3d view(left one), after i see some slight delays of window refreshing the scene. Thanks. Alex

Hi, i ll take a look. I wasn t aware of this update. If you are not getting a message in the next days concerning the problem it means the problem is solved A tehnical question: Is possible to decompose an object and to export it separatly based on the materials in u3d? My problem: i have an FBX with one object, but multiple parts(materials). So when i select a material the relative uvs and polys are selected form different tiles. I want to save each parts of the model separatly based on materials in order to bake the normals in Zbrush, where the high polys(separate subtools) are. Is this possible with U3d? Thanks. Hi Fluke
I hope you don't have anymore crash with the new version.
It is not currently possible to export sub parts of the model in separate files. All polygons of the original models are always exported.
I hope you can work in that way. If you found a workaround please let us know.
Cheers
