Just wondering, if I export fbx from Sketchup, what to use, Virtual or Real version? Fbx gets out triangulated. I would like to use Ufold3d to make uv maps for Unreal.
Thanx!

Hi Nermin,
If your polygons get triangulated, (even if you load your mesh with "Load" and not with "Load UVs", it means that Sketchup doesn't do a proper mesh export. And if the orignal file gets triangulated/tesselated, there is not robust algorithms that we could add inside Unfold3D to untesselate them.
You may post a message on the sketchup forum and explain them what is happening.
By the way, the virtual and real space version have the same importing options currently (more importing options will be added later). You may take the real space version if you need that your UVs keep the same areas/size they have in 3D space. In short, the importing problem is unrelated with the choice of the VS or RS version.
Thank you very much for your feedback.
