So.... after some research, i have figured out some problems with 3dsmax modifiers stack, in some cases it's impossible keep modifiers order and paste Unfold3dUV modifier to proper position in modifiers stack without collapsing modifiers, and it not a problem of the script it's problem of 3dsmax, and it's from 3dsmax 2012. For export, You can temporarily collapse (part/complete) modifier stack before exporting. And then restore it, either by: A) creating a copy of the objects (collapsing the modifier stack on them and then deleting them) B) using undo within maxscript (does not always work great I think) C) saving and restoring the scene. (Very stable alternative to A, but needs to save and reload the scene)

hi titus, i have just installed the latest unfold3d or rizomuv.exe as it is now called. Looks like the 3dsmax bridge wont use the new .exe naming at the moment.

Confirm the issue with the latest version of unfold3d .... the bridge interrupts its action ...meanwhile the soft imports bridged geometry but ...it doesnt send it back to 3dsmax anymore!

Hi, today i have discovered this AUTODESK RULES (S**t! it's official statement. WTF i thought. HOW! HOW it's even possible. they broke an Obj importer with a new version of 3dsmax.) So in 3dsmax 2018 bridge works only with one object and doesn't with multiple - so i have to change import part in script. And i have a question - is it possible to import object with one format but when you press save button save it with another? Example: 1) RizomUV - open - blalbla.obj 2) Edit uv part 3) RizomUV - Save - blabla.fbx Maybe there is a way to do this with LUA commands, please help.

Remi could you check FBX saving. Because here some strange things: in RizomUV: prntscr.com/joq8esAfter saving to OBJ i have got this (in blender screens) prntscr.com/joqac0But if i save same file to FBX i have got this: prntscr.com/joqayaIt seems like when export to FBX collapses all meshes into one. And i was tried to open FBX in Max and in Blender = same, like on last screenshot. Please help.

Ok this is much more complex than I though. I continue tomorrow.
The problem is there because you load a OBJ file then save FBX. The conversion is not well done in that case for objects.

It is done, 2018.0.70 solve the objects info loss when you load an OBJ file then save as FBX.
