Hi guys,
I have tested Unfold3d for 2 days now and I love it. I am a newbie so forgive if I ask stupid questions.
My question mainly concerns exporting an object to Unfold for unwrapping to channel 2 and importing it in Max again.
Export from Max works fine. Unwrapping works even better.
But then when I want to import it becomes a bit fuzzy. How do I know I have a channel 1 and channel 2 map? And the pivot point of the imported-unwrapped object has been changed.
Maybe it is very obvious what I am doing wrong. But I don't seem to be able te solve it.
Thanks for your help!

Hi Jeroen,
Thanks for you feedback
There two subjects in your post,
1- Multi UV channel: I don't known way to re-import only one channel among several in Max. You may export all channels, create and a new channel inside Unfold3d Virtual Spaces, then import back the full object inside MAX containing all channels. Use FBX files for that.
2- The object's pivot changed. Are you sure you used the last version of Unfold3D Virtual Space for that. You may have found a bug. Did you used a FBX file for the import/export ?
Could you try the following: Export the file from MAX, then import it back again even without using Unfold3D. In that way you may help to find if there is bug inside Unfold3D or inside MAX I/O. Please try using OBJ and FBX files
Thank you for your help

Thanks for your reply Remi.
Where can I find the option to make multiple UVs/create a new channel in Unfold?
I downloaded version 0.10. I works perfect.

Glad to know that it works with the new version.
You'll find the UV Channel handling in the panel "UVSets". Which is on the top right of the UI. Just above the transform panel.
Thank you for your feedback.
