I do have a question...so where you have the U & V setting on 47...does that help with getting tighter resolution? Thats the issue I'm having is getting a high res on the UV map on export. I crank the DPI up to 600+ and I can only seem to get 2048px out of my unwraps.

I crank the DPI up to 600+ and I can only seem to get 2048px out of my unwraps. Thank You Rone ! For getting a higher res on the UV map export (and this will vary depending on the workflow / approach / method used, etc.), in the File Exporter Dialog, you will find the "Image Stamp Exports" parameters width and height; (or maybe that's not working/bug? I haven't checked the most recent version), Regarding this, Remi mentions in his post; unfold3d.boards.net/post/383/threadWhere, if I understand correctly (for example), you could take your exported UV map from Unfold3D (2048px, or smaller even), and use it as a guide in Mari, Photoshop, <-- where you could then use a much higher resolution file for creating your texture maps. For me, once I see nice square black and white tiles, and very little red in the Stretch Map, I export out the obj. file, then I import that into Mari, & then I set the resolution in Mari. In Mari I try to work at the highest resolution I can (get the highest resolution possible on my texture files), export out the texture files from Mari (2k, 4k, & up), then put the mesh & the textures files into 3ds Max & render with Vray. But, that's just one possible workflow. Another very popular workflow would be to use Substance Painter (ie; create mesh in ZBrush; high & low poly versions > create UV's in UnFold3D > send to Substance Painter > put that into Marmoset Toolbag, -& get a beautiful render). Hope that might help ! Pardon if I misunderstood, & glad to test things out, see if I can export out a really high res map from Unfold3D, etc.

Yea thats where I crank my settings up to 600 or more for DPI. I may have a bug then because whenever I try and change the size of the map it always defaults back to 1 when I use DPI. I'm going to try again when I get home.
I use c4d/zBrush to Substance Painter(where you can change the res as well) and either render it out in SP or Keyshot/Vray. C4d's renderer isn't half bad either. I do want to try marmoset though thats looking really impressive with release 3.
Thanks bro!

Cool, glad to pass along what I did / what I found . I just installed, "Unfold3D_VSRS.0.10.12.gecc5fc6.master," and I'm testing it on one of the default ZBrush meshes from ZBrush, "DemoHead," merged into one tool, then exported out as an obj file. (Unfold3D_VSRS.0.10.12.gecc5fc6.master installed with no errors or issues for me, License, etc. all working great) ZBrush mesh; Loaded into UnFold3D; I then did a very fast (sloppy ) cut & UnFold, along with an export set for 4096 x 4096 ; After I did the export, I opened up the file in Photoshop to see the size (& I inverted the color); It looks like it worked; I did not hit any issues, hopefully my settings from the screen captures can be seen for the values I used in UnFold3D (I kept everything at pretty much Default). A nice part of testing like this (for me), is being able to get FAST results. UnFold3D has been excellent on this ! Pardon if I've misunderstood, & you might have a very different set-up (multiple tiles, etc.). I was guessing that using defaults / easily reproducible files, examples, might help as a starting point for seeing results. Glad to check more items, test out more, try and answer questions, etc. anytime ! Thank You Rone !
