Hi,
trying the beta for the first time today and was wondering if my issue is by design or if I missed checking a box or something like that.
My workflow for this test: I imported an .obj consisting of multiple meshes into Unfold3D, did my UVs and packed them (which worked fine btw!) and saved the obj. Then I re-opened it into my 3D application (Cinema 4D) and realized that there is now only one merged mesh.
Is there a way to keep the original, separated structure of the file and still be able to pack my UVs of multiple meshes in one UV tile?
Thanks for your help!

Hi Fabian
Thank you for your feedback. Can you please tell me if you used OBJ file or FBX for that ?
It would help a lot if you could send me a very simple mesh file that shows the problem. I would need the file that you exported from C4D to Unfold3D. I will look how Unfold3D re-export it and see why the structure is lost.
You can attach the file here, or send it to me at contact@rizom-lab.com
Thank you !

I attached a simple scene and included the original .c4d-file, the exported .obj-file from Cinema 4D and the saved .obj-file from Unfold3D.

Thank you Fabian for theses files.
Yes, there was a problem with the object lines of the OBJ files.
The problem will be solved in the next beta release, I think you'll have a fix in the middle of this week.
