Hi, I moved from 3D-Coat to RizomUV and it's a big step forward. 3D-Coat is still excellent but the quality of unwrapping and the amount of tools in RizomUV just blows everything else out of the water. RizomUV also understands 3DSMax's smoothing groups which is a huge improvement in my workflow. BUT, now I'm facing another issue : I try to work in all the softwares I use in a common scale (centimeters, meters, etc). In order not to get different sizes of objects when exporting from a software X and importing into another one. Whenever I work the UVs of my lowpoly, the exported mesh doesn't have the same scale as the original. When you work with a lowpoly that's supposed to get the bakings from a highpoly this is a really big problem. I can't find anything in the preferences, doesn't seem to have any fbx or obj export options either. I tried, after a RizomUV export in fbx, to import back in 3DSMax and change the scale to meters, centimeters, decime.... and nothing imports the mesh as it was... How can I be sure that my exported mesh (from RizomUV) will be the same when imported back in another software ? EDIT : import back in 3DSMax as Automatic / inches. And then it works...
