Hi, it would be awesome having an information of the real dimensions of the UV in RizomUV VS. What I have to do now is: - Unfold the mesh in RizomUV - Export OBJ - Import the unwrapped OBJ in UVLayout (https://www.uvlayout.com) - Click on "Show Flattened Stats" to have a look to the real dimensions in millimeters
I know, I could use RizomUV RS, but many 3D software can't deal with UVs that are not sized U1 V1. It would be possible to implement this feature?
Thanks

Hi,
I think that you could use RizomUV RS to work in unnormalized dimensions and export normalized UVs when you need it.
Could you tell me more about the context in which you need the real dimensions ?

I'm currently working with some high-precision laser engraving technology, these machines require super-high texture resolution at 1:1 scale. I need to know the UVs real dimensions in order to be able to work at high resolution (1270 dpi) with a 1:1 scale. Look at the example image attached. i.e: I need to engrave a 10 x 10 mm pattern on a non-planar steel mold, I need to know the unwrapped real dimensions of the engraved area (let's say is 100 x 100 mm) so I can repeat my 10 x 10 mm pattern across the UV (10 times).

Thanks for that very nice pic.
The RS version is indeed designed to work with that kind of context use. I advise you to switch to the RS version.
