Hie.
Im new to RizomUV but i can feel its a great handy tool. Im having a problem with blurred textures when i export models from cinema4D to substance painter for texturing. So i switched to RizomUV to use the texel density fitter but nothing seems to change or its me. A simple example with a cube will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I am also trying to understand how to properly use the texel density feature for packing. I can successfully set the texel density of my islands (they rescale properly after setting them). However, when I then pack the islands, they are rescaled to fit the full uv tile (i.e., a different texel density). I do not want this. I have tried all of the pack buttons and packing properties. Nothing seems to work. How do I pack while retaining the texel density I set?

I noticed that Maya's behavior is very similar. You can resize your islands to meet a specific texel density. However, you cannot pack at that density. Maya also resizes to fit. In both applications it would appear that you need to manually pack at a specified density. I am assuming from the lack of responses to this thread that such behavior is not generally a problem for others. However, I would find it very helpful to have the capability to automatically pack at a specified texel density (if it does not already exist).

Hi
In the Packing Properties panel, disable "Auto Fit". Your island will keep their current scale. Setting "Initial Scale" to "Keep" may help also depending of what you are doing.
Notice that with Auto Fit disabled you'll have some wasted space in your UV Tile.
Is it answering to your question ?

Greetings! Are there any detailed instructions for customization of texel density in RizomUV?

What do you mean by customization of the TexelDensity?
